The
Cemetery Club
By Ivan Menchell
The author received his Master of Fine Arts in playwriting from the Yale School of Drama and is the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship for playwriting. His experiences from being born and raised in Queens, New York gave him the inspiration to write this whimsical and touching drama/comedy about three friends who have four things in common; they’re women, they’re Jewish, they all live in Queens, New York and they’re all widowed. But there is where the similarities end. Having very different personalities, how they manage to cope with being widowed and still try to keep their relationships intact is what makes this production an evening of pure pleasure that will make you glad you came.
