ABOUT US
Main Street Players of Boone County was organized in May of 1994 as a not-for-profit amateur community theatre group. The goal of this organization is to provide opportunities for the residents of Boone County and surrounding areas to participate in and enjoy Quality Amateur Theatre in all its facets. To accomplish this goal, it is the mission of this organization to assemble as many interested individuals and groups as possible who believe, as we do, that cooperation and generous contributions of time, talent, goods, services, and funding can make a difference in our community.
We are extremely proud and grateful for the wonderful reception Boone County has given us for over 20 years. We look forward to the continued support and enthusiasm we have received from our ever growing audience and membership and the community as a whole. The performing arts are a real part of the people of Boone County and the surrounding area. OUR COMMITTEES
|
Production
|
The Production Committee is in charge of all aspect of each show. This includes set, props, costumes, and any other production needs. The Production Committee members are the point of contact for a production's Director.

Ticket Sales (Box Office)
|
The Ticket Sales Committee is responsible for tickets sales for shows and special events. This committee is responsible for filling the Box Office Manager and House Manager positions for each production. The Box Office Manager and House Manager and responsbile for the proper handling of all monies and paperwork for each production.

Promotions & Advertising
|
The Promotions & Advertising Committee is responsible for promoting shows, the theatre, and all other MSP activities. This committee also solicits and coordinates advertising and handles press releases, production and appearance photos, and all other promotional and advertising materials.

Membership / Audition
|
The Membership / Audition Committee is responsible for maintaining our databases for membership, audition, and volunteers. This committee is responsible for releasing information to the appropriate parties and soliciting/organizing our volunteer base.

Technology
|
The Technology Committee is responsbile for maintaining the MSP website and our other social media accounts.
